Overview

George Eastman House is the world’s leading museum of photography and film in the heart of Rochester, New York’s cultural district. The National Historic Landmark mansion and gardens of Kodak founder George Eastman (the father of popular photography and motion picture film) is combined with galleries offering a variety of exhibitions on photography, cameras, George Eastman, as well as a hands-on learning center for children. Evening film programs in the Dryden Theatre showcase the Museum’s motion picture collection. Enjoy the Museum Store and Café.
